Muff Pistols
A collection of 3 muff pistols.The larger has a removable barrel & is a .45, the two smaller are both .36 & one again has a removable barrel.
All three were made locally from scratch by Jim Pickle from Hingham, as seen inscribed on two of the pistols. Some may remember he was Graham Hills mechanic at Lotus.
The brass pistol has a crack, as in photo. Jim is a friend of mine, he inspected the pistol & says that's fine, it happened during manufacturing, the brass is an outer jacket, the pressure bearing parts inside are steel.
