WWII-ERA 12ga CARTRIDGES

I’m downsizing my collection of collectable vintage shotgun cartridges. So, up for your consideration are the following:

  • WWII 12g ELEY-KYNOCH Special trapshooting cartridge.
    ELEY Loaded and Made in Great Britain with no. 7 Smokeless Diamond, cream paper case with rolled edge and paper disc complete with Broad Arrow government
    stores acceptance mark. Used by the RAF for teaching the principles of aerial gunnery. Limited numbers. £1.50 each.
  • WWII 12g ELEY-KYNOCH.  ELEY 'ROCKET' Cartridge 'Tracer' Made in Great Britain, no. 6 Smokeless Diamond, cream paper case with red text, rolled edge and paper disc complete with Broad Arrow government stores acceptance mark. Used by the RAF as a tracer cartridge for teaching the principles of aerial gunnery. Very limited numbers. £2 each.
  • One full box 25 x vintage, post-1950s 12g Thomas Turner & Sons Reading Ltd Gun and Rifle Manufacturers, 21 Whitley Street, Reading, Berkshire.2 1/2" 65mm crimp closure and red paper case. No. 6 shot, 1 1/16oz load. £10 o.v.n.o.
  • Part box: 24 x vintage 16 gauge 2 1/2" no. 6 shot by Three Crowns, Hull Cartridge Co. Ltd. Blue paper case with crimp closure. Post 1950s. £10 o.v.n.o.

PLEASE NOTE: these vintage cartridges are live so, although sold as collectable display examples, they will be needed collected in person, with the buyer holding a valid shotgun certificate.
